Cardinal:
Description: Both the males and females have a crest, coned shaped reddish orange bill. Males body is all red with black face. Females are a brownish, olive color with reddish wings, crest and tail.

Food Source: Cardinals can often be seen at the feeders. They will eat wild bird food, sunflowers and suet cakes. They will also eat woodpecker cakes. Nesting Habits: Cardinals choose trees over birdhouses for nesting. Many nests have been found in pine trees.
