Description: 6½" Mostly gray on upper body of bird with crown. Stomach, chest and throat are mostly white, with light orange under wings. Small black patch above bill. Sound: Not yet available Food Source: Tufted titmouse will eat peanut butter, wild bird seed, sunflower and woodpecker cakes, as shown above Nesting Habits: Some Tufted Titmouses will nest in boxes, others prefer natural environments such as inside cavities, mostly in trees. They utilize both live and dead growth, often nesting in cavities that are surrounded with hard resistant wood. A number like to breed in knot holes, slits left where lightning has struck, and long weathered squirrels' holes.
